The Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA), established in 1958, is the internationally-recognised training arm of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. It offers a wide range of operational and management programmes that benchmark international standards and best practices to meet the training needs of the global aviation community. SAA is an ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Full Member, ICAO-endorsed Government Safety Inspector Training Centre, ICAO Aviation Security Training Centre and ICAO Regional Training Centre of Excellence.

Legal Principles for Aviation Regulators and Managers, 23 – 27 Mar 2015
This course provides regulators and managers with fundamental knowledge and understanding of legal principles and procedures as applied in various legal systems.

Safety Oversight of Aviation Meteorological Services, 30 Mar – 1 Apr 2015
The course provides participants with a better understanding of State safety oversight functions and activities relating to aviation meteorology in accordance with the ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices.

The Flight Safety Foundation (FSF) and SAA jointly organised the Approach and Landing Accident Reduction (ALAR) Info Exchange and the Maintenance and Engineering Safety Forum from 10 to 11 February and 12 February respectively.

SAA and the International Aviation Fire Protection Association (IAFPA) jointly organised the 15th IAFPA Aircraft Rescue and Fire-fighting (ARFF) Conference on 12–14 January 2015.
 
Onsite Training Programme: Customised Aerodrome Certification for DGAC, Mexico - 26 to 30 Jan 2015
SAA was invited by the Direccion General De Aeronautica Civil (DGAC), Mexico to deliver a Customised Aerodrome Certification Course in Mexico City for 25 participants and the course was conducted from 26 to 30 January 2015.
