The Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA), established in 1958, is the internationally-recognised training arm of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. It offers a wide range of operational and management programmes that benchmark international standards and best practices to meet the training needs of the global aviation community. SAA is an ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Full Member, ICAO-endorsed Government Safety Inspector Training Centre, ICAO Aviation Security Training Centre and ICAO Regional Training Centre of Excellence.
Upcoming Programmes

Safety Oversight Managers, 11 – 28 May 2015
This course provides you with an understanding of the fundamental principles to effectively and efficiently manage safety oversight from a State’s aviation regulatory perspective. Besides the ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices, references to various national civil aviation regulations will be shared.

Aviation Leaders Programme in Public Policy, 18 – 29 May 2015
This programme enables you to make sound public policy decisions in a complex and ever-evolving aviation landscape. You will gain a deeper understanding of the latest global developments, ranging from economics, international relations and security to environmental and public governance. The interactive two-week programme combines Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy’s expertise in public policy with Singapore’s experience in promoting a safe and vibrant air hub.

Aviation Security Management Programme, 19 - 22 May 2015
This programme provides you with an understanding of the requirements, principles and practices to effectively implement aviation security management. References to ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices and best practices of national aviation security authorities will be shared.
