The Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA), established in 1958, is the internationally-recognised training arm of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. Aspiring to be a top aviation academy in the world, SAA offers a wide range of operational and management programmes that benchmark international standards and best practices to meet the training needs of the global aviation community. SAA offers four main streams of aviation training through its four specialised schools:

ICAO-endorsed Government Safety Inspectors Airworthiness – Air Operator and Approved Maintenance Organisation Certification, 16 May – 2 Jun 2016
This course provides you with an understanding of the basic concepts and steps involved in certifying maintenance organisations and air operators.

Seat Dynamic Impact Test Procedures, 30 – 31 May 2016
This course provides you with an understanding of the background and requirements of impact test performance standards for aircraft seating systems and the various certification options for aircraft seating systems.

Workshop on Aviation Law, 4 – 8 Jul 2016
This 4-day workshop provides a comprehensive and in-depth coverage on contemporary issues on aviation law for airport regulators and examine how the knowledge can be applied to protect the interests of the various airport stakeholders.

CAAS signs new training Memorandums of Understanding to provide aviation training in Africa and Latin America, 17 February 2016
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has signed new training Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with the Agency for Air Navigation Safety in Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA) and the Central American Corporation for Air Navigation Services (COCESNA).
