The Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA), established in 1958, is the internationally-recognised training arm of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. It offers a wide range of operational and management programmes that benchmark international standards and best practices to meet the training needs of the global aviation community. SAA is an ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Full Member, ICAO-endorsed Government Safety Inspector Training Centre, ICAO Aviation Security Training Centre and ICAO Regional Training Centre of Excellence.
Upcoming Programmes

Cabin Safety Workshop – Crashworthiness (jointly organised with FAA, US), 29 Sep – 3 Oct 2014
This course provides an understanding of the considerations necessary when designing safe and crashworthy aircraft so as to eliminate injuries and fatalities in mild impacts and minimise them in severe but survivable impacts.

Public Health Emergency and Business Continuity Management, 10 – 14 Nov 2014
This course provides participants with a better understanding of key considerations for a public health emergency plan and equips them with the know-how to develop a set of business continuity standards and guidelines to address specific issues.

Singapore Airworthiness Requirements (SAR) Part 21, 25 - 27 Nov 2014
This course will provide you with a better understanding of your roles and responsibilities in meeting the Singapore Airworthiness Requirements (SAR) Part 21.

CAAS signs Annex 1 to the Singapore-ICAO MOU on Co-operation in Leadership and Management Training - 7 August 2014
On 7 August 2014, Mr Raymond Benjamin, Secretary-General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and Mr Yap Ong Heng, Director-General of CAAS, signed the Annex 1 to the Singapore-ICAO Memorandum of Understanding on Co-operation (MOU) in Leadership and Management Training.
