Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU)-Asia in partnership with SAA organised the 3rd Commencement Ceremony for the graduates of 2014 on Saturday, 8 November 2014.
A total of 19 graduates, 20 ERAU Faculty members and over 50 family and friends of the graduates attended the joyous occasion. The Guest of Honour for the Commencement Ceremony, Ambassador Kirk Wager, US Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore, delivered the keynote address and was presented the Distinguished Speaker Award by ERAU.
Out of the 19 graduates, 16 were conferred the Master of Business in Administration in Aviation (MBAA) degree and 3 conferred the Master of Aeronautical Science (MAS) degree; both which are recognised internationally. The MBAA was launched in Singapore in 2011 and the MAS in 2012, following the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between SAA and Embry-Riddle in February 2010. The programme is delivered in a blended learning format that combines traditional classroom, online learning and web video conferencing elements.
SAA is privileged to partner Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a pioneer and leader in aviation and aerospace training in delivering both the Master degrees.
