The inaugural Symposium on Airfield Infrastructure of Airports – Engineering and Future Development serves as a nexus for knowledge sharing and brings together airport practitioners and academia to discuss innovative concepts in airfield infrastructure planning and development. Key topics on airfield infrastructure development, engineering challenges in airport expansions and strategies for future development, emerging technologies that enhance safety and airport operations, and best engineering practices for airfield expansion will be discussed. The Symposium also provides you with an appreciation of the engineering challenges in airport expansion and strategies for future development, including Changi Airport Terminal 5.

  • Panel session featuring two of the biggest airports in Asia Pacific - Hong Kong and Singapore, as they come together to discuss challenges in airport expansion and building of a third runway while continuing operations
