|Singapore Partners ICAO on Aviation Security Leadership and Management Seminar |
To promote sharing of aviation security knowledge and expertise globally, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish the ICAO-Singapore Aviation Security Leadership and Management Seminar (LAMS). Mr Raymond Benjamin, Secretary-General, ICAO, and Mr Yap Ong Heng, Director-General, CAAS, signed the MOU today.

The Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA), a training arm of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MITRE Aviation Institute (MAI) to enhance collaboration in training, knowledge exchange and joint research projects in areas such as aviation safety, aviation security, aviation project management and systems engineering, and air navigation service provision. The MOU was signed by Mr Goh Chin Ee, Director (SAA) and Mr Robert Humbertson, Director (MAI), and witnessed by Mr Lim Kim Choon, CAAS Director-General and Chief Executive Officer, as well as senior representatives from the Federal Aviation Administration.

|New Advisory Board Set to Bring the Singapore Aviation Academy to New Heights |
A new 10-member advisory board has been set up to chart the strategic direction of the Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA). The SAA Advisory Board (SAB) was launched by CAAS' Director-General and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Lim Kim Choon, this morning. The SAB aims to guide SAA to meet the challenges ahead and enhance its contributions in human resource development to the international civil aviation community.
