In line with CAAS’ drive to engage local industry partners and stakeholders in promoting a strong aviation safety culture and framework, a monthly series of talks, workshops and seminars on topical issues related to aviation safety, called “CAAS Safety Series” has been launched. SAA is an organizing partner and the key venue provider.
The Safety Series seeks to encourage sharing of views and allow feedback that would enhance synergies in the industry. The inaugural seminar on “Developments in Air Operations Regulations” on 28 Feb 2011 saw over 100 senior management and aviation professionals in attendance. The second talk under the Safety Series on 8 March 2011 focused on the Singapore Airworthiness Requirements Part 145 (SAR – 145) and attracted more than 40 aviation professionals from the local aviation industry.
